    turning dull asphalt surfaces into gaping skies,

    mirroring that which has not yet melted.

  • The day before yesterday,
    The Green mirrored the blue;
    Yesterday, the field was flowing gold;
    Today, heaven veils the earth
    In delicate white sublime,
    As the south wind brushes
    Snow flowers against my cheeks.
